Data Coordinating & Analysis Center

The Data Coordinating & Analysis Center (DCAC), based at the University of Utah, serves as the central hub for data management, study design, and statistical analysis for the NPMSC. Established over two decades ago as a full-service academic research organization, the Utah Data Coordinating & Analysis Center provides expertise in clinical research leadership, data management, regulatory oversight, project management, and information technology infrastructure.

The DCAC works closely with each Clinical Center to implement standardized data collection and analysis protocols, ensuring uniformity, data quality, and patient safety across all Network studies. The DCAC also maintains the comprehensive Pediatric Multiple Sclerosis and other Demyelinating Diseases (PeMSDD) registry and collaborates with external researchers and sponsors looking to leverage registry data for further discoveries.
